Avobenzone
Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane or avobenzone provides superior protection through a large portion of the UV-A range, including UV-A I. A significant addition to sunscreen products for true broad-spectrum UV protection, concerns have been raised regarding its photostability and its potential to degrade other sunscreen ingredients in products in which it is used.
Zinc oxide is a mild astringent with soothing, protective, and weak antiseptic properties. It provides physical barrier to prevent skin irritation and help heal damaged skin. It also reflects UV radiation and used as a physical sunscreen.
Octinoxate is a cinnamate ester and common ingredient in sunscreen and other skin care products to minimize DNA photodamage.
Enzacamene is a monoterpenoid. ChEBI. Commonly known as 4-methylbenzylidene-camphor (4-MBC), enzacamene is a camphor derivative and an organic chemical UV-B filter. It is used in cosmetic products such as sunscreen to provide skin protection against UV rays.
