Indications:
For general use as an emollient in the symptomatic relief of dry skin conditions.

Dosage & Administration:
Apply a thin film of the ointment to the affected area of the skin, in the direction of hair growth, as required. Repeat as necessary. Ideally the product should be applied three or four times a day or at least twice a day. In adults, where a large area of the body is affected, up to 500 g a week may be used. For topical administration only.

Adult Dose:

Bar Using very little water, make a rich lather, massage & cleanse affected areas. Use as often as required. Emollient Add to bath or apply to wet skin. Bath: 1-3 capful to 8 inch bath water, soak for 10-20 min.

Child Dose:

Bar Using very little water, make a rich lather, massage & cleanse affected areas. Use as often as required. Emollient Infant bath: Add ½-2 capful to a wash basin of water.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Mode of Action:

When used topically: softens and hydrates skin.

Precautions & Warnings:
This topical agent should be applied along the direction of hair growth to reduce the incidence of folliculitis.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
The safety of white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been determined, but using them during these periods is not considered dangerous.

Interaction:
May impair absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and possibly other compounds.

Side Effects:
Long-term use can cause folliculitis. If this happens, you should stop using the product.
