Indication
Localized painful inflammatory conditions including sprains, strains, bruises, osteoarthritis of peripheral joints, tenosynovitis, myositis, bursitis, sports injuries, low back pain, localized form of soft tissue rheumatism, traumatic inflammation of tendons, muscles & joints. Mild osteoarthritis, periarthropathy, frozen shoulder, cervical spondylitis.
Contra Indication
Known hypersensitivity to any part of the preparation.

Approximately one-inch band of gel should be applied to the affected site 3-4 times daily with rubbing till the film disappears.
Side Effect
Usually well tolerated. Extremely low frequency of hypersensitivity reactions. Skin irritation, eg, skin rash, oedema, wheals, papules, scutes, reddening, burning, prickling, itch at the application site may occur.

Mode of Action
Diclofenac Diethylamine is systemically absorbed through the skin; it inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase, thus reducing the formation of PGE2. Moreover, it also increases the uptake of Arachidonic acid into the cellular pool.
Menthol is a vasodilator. It dilates the blood vessels, produces a feeling of coolness and produces analgesia.
Methyl salicylate is a known anti-inflammatory agent.
Linseed oil is alfalinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant actions, improves blood circulation at place of application.
